The recent Volume Expo, given to Stampede attendees, included full sketches for the ships of the Supernovas. The drawings are from anime staff, but the choices on their designs are from Oda himself (with some sketches by him to tell them how to draw the ships), making these their official designs. We actually got a glimpse to a few of these in the past, but this is our first time properly seeing all of them! So let’s go over all the designs right here, with full translations of the official notes!
Disclaimer: This does not include any spoilers for Stampede (or anything from the manga, really). Furthermore, while all the text has been directly translated from the original, the etymology section was added by me, so keep in mind that section wasn’t present in the original and is just my observations
Translated by me, please credit me if you use this anywhere (also special thanks to @EtenBoby for helping me decipher a couple of the notes from Oda)
KID PIRATES – VICTORIA PUNK
BONNEY PIRATES – JEWELRY MARGHERITA
FIRETANK PIRATES – NOSTRA CASTELLO
ON AIR PIRATES – STAY TUNED
HAWKINS PIRATES – GRUDGEDORF
FALLEN MONK PIRATES – HANJOU-MARU
DRAKE PIRATES – LIBERAL HIND
Here are how the ships appeared pre-timeskip in the manga:
And here they are post-timeskip in the recent Stampede-promotional episode for the anime:
The movie itself showed these ships and their features far more clearly, so when the movie comes out digitally you can look forward to getting high-quality shots of all these beautiful vessels!
Artur,if that isn’t ask too much, you could do a post back to Punk Hazard arc talking about what the history showed us of Monet? I becamed really interested in her at that times.

In Victoria Punk’s picture, at the left of the rudder of the ship, there is a non-translated part.
What does it say?

So Bonney truly does have a connection to Big Mom…..she stole her ship from her is one thing, but who knows what else.

A small correction from an Italian reader: the name of the Sicilian mafia is not “Nostra casa” (“Our home”) but rather “Cosa nostra” (“Our thing”).
Furthermore, Bege’s ship bears a grammatically incorrect name, since it puts together the feminine adjective “nostra” (lifted from “Cosa nostra”) with the male noun “castello”.
A name featuring correct noun-adjective concordance would be “Nostro castello”. However! Since all ships are supposed to be female, the dissonant adjective ironically works.
