The Wano arc has finally arrived in the anime, so let’s go over everything new shown in it! First of all, Oda’s message, where he assures fans that Wano, in both the anime and manga, is going to become 50 times more exciting than before!

It was also recently revealed that Komurasaki will be voiced by Nana Mizuki, voice of Hinata among many other talents!

Before we delve into spoiler territory, here are some things worth nothing about the episode as a whole:

– The opening and recap are considerably shorter, leaving more space for actual episode content
– Animation and artwork are legitimately stunning! A must see!
– New eyecatchers as well as new preview theme!
– The title card is done in the form of a kabuki curtain:

– And also, Zoro imbues his seppuku blade with Armament haki in the anime, which he didn’t do in the manga

But anyways, as you might’ve noticed, the anime includes a LOT of spoilers. This includes many characters and even Yasuie’s execution.

But not just that! The anime even spoils stuff that hasn’t been shown in the manga yet! How’s that even possible??? Well, it is, so tread below at your own risk, as these are spoilers for the upcoming manga chapters!

Yes, because in a baffling turn of events, they decided to show Denjirou in the opening among the other Red Scabbards and… he’s Kyoushirou! I know many of us started believing in it (I in fact called it a while ago! Woo!), but to just be revealed like that in the opening… what a shock!

But that’s not all! The anime even spoiled A NEW FORM FOR LUFFY! Yep, the ending of the opening shows Luffy using Ryuuou/flow haki in Gear Fourth form, something we’ve yet to see in the manga! It even shows Luffy tanking hits from Kaido easily and being able to stand against him, so this is no doubt from much later into the arc! But hey, at least this confirms the color of the Ryuuou aura to be red, just like Luffy’s Gear Fourth haki in the anime:

And it looks incredibly powerful as well! Luffy goes through the boro breath like it’s nothing and even takes several attacks from Kaido without much damage, so this is a fight quite ahead in the manga!
