Awesome work and thourough analysis Artur-dono; i must say that kyoshiro’s previous comment still bugs me, as he insinuated that orochi is a coward; was it intended to be taken in the literal sense or just a figure of speech; also maybe the sneaky/weaselly craftiness comes as a characteristic of the devil fruit he consumed, i mean him being an orochi and all.

I think that he was just making fun of the fact that Orochi was afraid of the Kozuki clan coming back, as it is the only legitimate threat of him being dethroned. Who knows, maybe he was aware of Toki’s powers, having a devil fruit himself. Kyoshiro seems to not be credulous at all, so he just laughs it off

Can’t tell if Orochi is smiling deviously or if he’s simply over-the-top drunk.

Puede ser, pero este Noda Skywalker lleva más de 10 portadas algo que creo que es raro aun en Japón. Por el tipo de portadas que son e incluso los comentarios de este Noda en Twitter (porque tiene twitter @noda_skywalker) parece que va más allá. Incluso habemos quienes pensamos que se puede tratar del mismo Oda interactuando de incógnito con los fans de One Piece.

Concerning Lord Orochi: What if it’s intentionally silhouetted to throw us off? Oda usually makes a big introduction of a key character’s devil fruit (ex. Kaido’s Dragon). This is “teased” in the silhouette, which is much more in character of how he likes to fake us out. Those dragons following him could easily be decorations, or maybe it’s even a Smile Fruit? Not that I place faith into either of those, but I definitely find this setup/introduction much more in character with some sort of “gotcha” moment.
In short, can we really expect Orochi to have this Devil Fruit?

Yeah I totally agree with that. It is such an un-Oda thing to reveal something so obvious in that matter. I am completely sure that there is something more about Orochi. Either his transformation looks ridiculous (or it’s even a smile, maybe as a payment for helping Kaido), or those silhouettes are something else (I also thought about decoration but it’s not very impressive). He could be creating those heads with some other devil fruit that allows him to make shapes (what about an origami fruit, it would match the setting…).

As another clue, you can see the eyes of the heads in white, but this should not be possible if they were normal (but maybe it’s just an artistic choice/mistake)

Waiting för Luffy to awaken his King haki (take it to next level). This will put Luffy at the level of Yonkou, in terms of power. More hype.
